Getting Started with LYNQr, in five simple steps
LYNQr reads the data already inside your Archicad model, the quantities and properties on every element plus project level information like the project location, and makes it available in a web dashboard your team can edit. Think of it as a live data layer over your model. Watch these five steps in order the first time, or jump to the one you need.
Sign Up & Download
Sign up for your LYNQr beta account at getlynqr.com/beta. Enter your firm details and accept the Terms and Beta Agreement. No payment — the beta is free. Then download and install LYNQr Pulse: a small desktop app that runs alongside Archicad on your computer and connects your projects to the LYNQr Dashboard. Run the installer on Windows or Mac. It is a one-time download — set it and forget it.
Connect
With Pulse installed and an Archicad project open, Pulse connects. A quick health check confirms Archicad, Tapir, and the platform are all talking to each other.
Set Up the Model
On connect, Pulse automatically pushes the LYNQr classification and properties into your Archicad project. These are the fields LYNQr understands, and now they are available on every element, ready to use.
Classify & Schedule
Assign the LYNQr classification to your elements, fill in the properties that matter, and set the LYNQr SCHEDULE value to route each element to the right tab. On Sync these elements upload to the relevant schedule on the dashboard.
Dashboard Tour
Your model's data lands in the dashboard at dashboard.getlynqr.com, ready for your team to see, filter, sort, and work through together. Everything flows in from Archicad: every element, its properties, and project-level info like location. Core fields like each element's schedule are set in Archicad, so the dashboard always reflects a single source of truth.
That is the full workflow
Install Pulse, connect it to Archicad, set up your model, classify and sync, and work with the results in the dashboard. If you get stuck on any step, email us at info@getlynqr.com and we'll help.
